Cruises have been considered mainly for adults and couples for a long time. But today’s cruise lines are rapidly changing all of that. Today, virtually all of the major cruise lines make cruises available that would be fun, exciting, adventurous and enjoyable for all in the family, including kids. As there is a little something for everyone, there will be no reason that anyone in the family would ever be bored on one of these floating vacations.
Last year, I went on a Caribbean Cruise with my family. The cruise line offered group activities for children with trained child care staff. They even offer children’s-only pools, pizza parties, movies, and live entertainment. My teens were also able to enjoy on-board, supervised game arcades and movies that appeal to their more mature tastes. What’s great about the cruise was that we didn’t need to hunt down new restaurants to eat at two or three times a day. The cruise was full board so all the delicious meals and a whole load of activities are included in the price too. I think the family vacation cruise is truly one of the best ways to make the most of your week or two together as a family.
